February 7th

7 weeks 6 days.  Day before my 8 week birthday.  My mom decided she was finally going to try me out in the jogging stroller.  Funny story.  Mom deliberated for weeks and weeks before I was born as to which stroller she wanted.  She decided on the cheap shopko stroller because it came with and infant car seat.  She was just sure she was going to be walking and jogging with me in my early days and would need the infant seat.  By the time she got around to actually jogging with me...I didn't fit.  Didn't get to use the seat once.  Perhaps it was because I was bundled so much, or perhaps she just needs to work with the straps a bit more

Needless to say, I got to ride faceing forward like the big kids...the day before my 8 week birthday.

I was thrilled!

MMM...brunch with Gramma Sue, hey we match!
Except for the bald spot.

January 29th

Great Grandma Gi Gi snuck in for a quick visit.  I swear, she could hold me all day long.  I don't blame her though.

January 30th

I graduated from the baby bath in the sink to the big baby bath in the tub.  I bet I will like it more when mom isn't so afraid of scalding me.  To say the water was luke-warm may have even been pushin it.

January 24th

Oh yeah, I am lookin good.  Growin up super fast, watch me sit up in this "Bimbo" or Bumbo.  Mom forgets the name of this chair and always calls it Bimbo.  But look at me!
So maybe I have lost some hair...

and maybe I haven't grown into my feet...

and maybe I do look like Kurt Cobain (thank you Auntie Gina)

But I am still pretty darn tootin cute!

Maarea meets her Hawaiian cousins

Apparently Tristan and Carter were surprised to meet her!

My cousins are so sweet to me, we had such a good time, look at all those Ketcham hands.  Whose do I have?  Whitneys? Carters? Tristans?

Oh yes, Dad and Uncle Jeffie.  Never a shortage of TYPEWRITERS and STEAM ROLLERS!

Cousin Carter couldn't get enough of me.  We were riding in the elevator together and an older boy, maybe 10 years old said I was cute.  Cousin Carter replied so proudly that "I was his cousin" it was as if we had been cousins for forever.  Well I guess we have been cousins my whole life.  But I had just met Carter and he already loves me so much.  I love him too!

Oh Bumpa
